Mount Si Wildcats Youth Basketball | Donut Social & Program Overview
Last night we held our 1st Annual Donut Social where we gathered players & parents to provide them with information on the upcoming season! Below is a summary of the information that was provided.

- Wildcat Youth Program Update:
- This year signifies the first year of Wildcat Youth Basketball as its own independent organization. Last year was a transition year and for 10-12 years preceding last year, Wildcat Youth Basketball was run by Si View Community Center. The move towards independence was driven by the following:
- Basketball-focus. Si View was a great partner, however, Basketball was one season each year within dozens of other community programs. We felt the need and opportunity to create basketball-only organization that will foster greater focus which will lead to increased opportunity over time
- Better alignment with high school programs.
- Ability to maintain / leverage Elite Sports as a trusted partner in skill development
- The new youth organization is really excited as are the high school coaches for the new road ahead. While we are excited, we will have opportunities to improve and welcome parent feedback.

Program Goal: Create an environment where our players thrive & develop both on and off the court!

- Practices:
- 2+ practices per week (90 minutes each)
- Elite Training
- Training included in your dues!
- Located at the Preston & Klahanie Elite Sports Academy
- Dates: October 30, 2023 through February
- League Games:
- ETL: 15+ “Scarlet”
- PEAK: 13+ “Gray”

- Games on Saturdays & Sundays
- Tournaments:
- 4+ Tournaments (Added Value!)
- Wildcat Tournaments:
- Hardwood Jam (Girls) November 11th & 12th
- Wildcat Shootout (Boys) November 17th thru 19th
- Wildcat Classic (Girls) January 13th thru 15th 2024
- Volunteering REQUIRED
- It is required that each family volunteer time throughout these tournaments. More info as we get closer to the event.
